This is where the Membership will get information about our Dearly Departed Brothers.

Brethren,    Please see the arrangements listed below for Brother William F. Miller PM for this coming Saturday. All those planning on attending should report to the church by 9:45 am. Aprons will be provided for the Brethren, if you have white gloves please bring them along. Please keep Brother Bill’s family in your thoughts and prayers as the family grieves the loss of Brother Bill.

A Service will be held on Saturday February 25, 2023 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 315 Gay Street Phoenixville, PA at 10:30 am. Visitations will be held on Friday February 24, 2023 at the R. Strunk Funeral Home 400 Main Street Phoenixville, PA from 6:00 – 8:30 pm, and Saturday February 25 at St. John’s from 9:30-10:30 am, prior to the service. There will be Masonic honors given at 10:15 am Saturday.  A burial will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery following Saturday’s service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Bill’s memory to the Tall Cedar Foundation (4309 Linglestown Road Suite 116 Box 4 Harrisburg, PA 17112) or to Relay For Life of Chester County PA at relayforlife.org/pacc.

Charles R. “Chuck” Rogers, 59, of Barto passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19th, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Lynn (Weaver) Rogers. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of William “Will” Rogers and the late Deanna (Schell) Rogers. He was a 1982 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High. Chuck was a long time employee of Knoll where he was currently working in the product testing lab. He and his wife also ran a Portable Sawmill Service, processing logs for customers at their home under the name, “Iron & Oak Sawmill”. He was a volunteer with the Upper Perkiomen Ambulance and a member of Perkiomen Lodge #595 of the F. & A. M.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Beecher and her husband, Ben, and his son, Charles “CJ” Rogers II, and his wife Angela, and their children: Toby Rogers, and Zachary Starner. He is also survived by his siblings: Anita Rogers of California, Patrick Rogers and his wife Patti of Florida, James Rogers and his wife Lori of Perkiomenville, and Nancy, widow of Eric Thompson of Perkiomenville.

All are invited to gather with his family from 1 – 2:30 PM on Saturday with a Masonic Service at 2:15 pm and a celebration of his life at 2:30 PM at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA.

Perkiomen Lodge No. 595

Dear Brethren,

It is with great sadness that the Officers and Members of Union Lodge No. 479 announce the passing of Brother Richard S. Happel.  Bro. Happel passed through the West Gate on July 22, 2022.

Brother Happel entered the Fraternity in 1960 and served as Worshipful Master of Union Lodge in 1967. 

A Masonic Service for Bro. Happel will begin at 10:00 am, on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Birdsboro Cemetery, 1018 East Main Street, Birdsboro, PA 19508

I’ve gotten some information in regards to Brother William Ferrell PM. 

UPDATE: The date has been moved to March 19th

Brother Bill service will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at the First United Church of Christ in Spring City at 11 am. There will be a Masonic Service take place at 10:45 am there at the Church. More information will be forthcoming as it is made available. Brothers wishing to participate in the service will be asked to gather at the home at approximately 10:15 am. Aprons will be provided and members should make every effort to bring white gloves for the service.

It is with sadness that we report the passing of Brother George Fetters PM, of Mt. Pickering Lodge No. 446.

George passed away on Feb 21st at the age of 81

Service will be held at Shalkop, Grace and Strunk Funeral home on Feb 26th 10-11 with a Masonic service at 11am.

Obituary for Brother William J. Davis PDDGM, 59th Masonic District
William “Bill” Davis, 85, of Taylor, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 17 at Allied Services Hospice in Scranton. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, the former Mildred Armfield Davis.
Born in Blakely, he was the son of the late Wendell and Clara Evans Davis. He and his brother Al were partners in Davis Brothers Roofing Co. for more than 40 years. Bill served in the National Guard. He enjoyed attending meetings for the Knights of Pythias, Tall Cedars and Keystone Consistory and served as past principal of the Masonic School of Instruction. He was a 50-year member of Acacia Lodge 579 F&AM and also served as past district deputy grand master for the 59th district.
He was a wonderful father to his daughters, Kathleen Mrozinski and husband, Gary, and Sharon Vinskofski and husband, John. He was so proud of his grandson, Gary Mrozinski Jr. He loved watching him play soccer. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert and wife, Anna Mae, and Edgar and wife, Joan, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Fahey and Clara Altieri, and a brother, Wendell.
He will be forever loved and missed by his family and all who knew him.
The funeral service will be Tuesday at noon from the Jacob Davis Funeral Home, 422 S. Main St., Taylor, with services by the Rev. Robert Cooper, pastor of the First United Church of Christ, Scranton. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m., with Masonic services at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 37, Taylor, PA 18517; or to the Acacia Lodge 579 F&AM, 617 Union St., Taylor, PA 18517.

Services for Fritz will be held Saturday February 5th, 2022 from 9-11 a.m. for the viewing at Trinity Lutheran, 1749 South Main Street, Bechtelsville. A Masonic/Military service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with religious services following afterwards.

For those unable to attend, or uncomfortable attending, Feeney’s Funeral Home will host a live-stream of the service starting at 10:45 AM.
